For Those Who Won’t Be Home For Christmas

We all know the saying, ‘Home is where the heart is’, and it’s true. While many face the holiday blues, and many are just plain overwhelmed this time of year, it is important to remember those silent heroes who work every day, often unnoticed, to do their best to make this world a better place.

Whether you believe U.S. involvement overseas is a good thing or not, there are countless individuals who are willing to give up their lives to do what they believe is the ‘right’ thing. So, let’s keep them in our hearts and prayers while we pray for a more peaceful and gentle world this Christmas.

Xerox is doing something cool. (I’m not being paid to write this). If you go to this web site, www.LetsSayThanks.com you can pick out a card to send to a soldier abroad, Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq. You can’t pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services.
