MamaBlogger365: A Moment in Motherhood by Amy Brozio-Andrews

I do their wash, I make them meals
I listen to the drama,
But when I tuck them in at night –
No sweeter sound than “mama.”

‘Twas my grandmothers lives, my mother’s too,
I join the chorus of the age
Abundant work, boundless love
Same motherhood, different stage.

Amy Brozio-Andrews serves as Mamapalooza’s logistical coordinator. She is the former managing editor of Absolute Write magazine and books section editor for INTHEFRAY. Her work has been published in Chick Ink (Adams Media, Inc., 2006) and by the Absinthe Literary Review, Library Journal, Kirkus Reviews, January Magazine, The Writer’s Eye, Pennycents Magazine and the Imperfect Parent. She’s had a lot of jobs but motherhood is the best, by far.
